Tourism Exchange Great Britain (TXGB)

Via our integration with TXGB not only can you add the ability for users to book local accommodation, attractions and tours directly from your website, you can also put more money back into the local economy by avoiding the high commission rates typically charged by Online Travel Agencies.

You can also generate income to fund destination marketing activities to promote your area by earning up to 7.5% commission on all bookings made on your website via the TXGB platform.

The NewcastleGateshead Initiative website integrates with TXGB to provide bookable product and helps generate income to fund future marketing activity

The List

Our integration with The List means that you’ll never need to manually add an event to your website ever again. The significant time saving that this provides is one of many benefits. A more comprehensive list of events also means more traffic to your site.

Because The List collects live events direct from source it means that events are posted often months in advance helping tourists to better plan their visits. As a partner of The List, events in your area will also be published on their network including The List website – attracting over 2 million visits a month, and the hyperlocal InYourArea site – with over 8 million visits a month. Plus, you’re able to earn commission on all bookings made that are a direct referral from an event listing on your website.

We use The List to populate the events listings on Visit Southampton. The feed is comprehensive and all but removes the task of adding events manually.

Google Adsense

This functionality opens up advertising space on your website via the Google Display Network and this is used to generate advertising revenue via your website.

Google will choose which ads appear on your website, according to the setting you have configured in your account and the online behaviour of each individual user – meaning users see ads based on their online history. Income will then be generated via the number of ads that appear on your website.

The higher your website traffic, the more money you’ll generate.

Our Custom Ad Wizard functionality provides you with the ability to have 100% control over any advertising opportunities that you want to offer on your website. It can be controlled page by page, by size and by timescale.

What’s more, for added insight and intelligence, we’re also able to offer additional reporting, data and data visualisation into your DestinationCore Insights Dashboard.
