As a BID in their first term, The Junction needed to make a lasting impact
The Problem
As a relatively new Business Improvement District, The Junction BID’s objective was to create a consumer facing website to showcase the area’s offering, driving online engagement that would translate into increased footfall, dwell time and spend.
Attracting visitors to Clapham Junction by showcasing what’s on offer and demonstrating value to the businesses they represent was essential.

The Solution
The “Visit Clapham Junction” site was built on our DestinationCore Pro platform. The website acts as a comprehensive and engaging guide to the very best of the local area, covering business listings, a blog and a full guide to events and offers.
By making the offers and events front and centre on the homepage (via the Offers and Events progressive web app) this actively encourages users to engage more often with the site through repeat usage, whilst adding to the destination’s sense of vibrancy and reinforcing the feeling that there’s plenty going on in the location.
To engage users further, we added the ‘you might also like’ functionality which suggests related content using our DestinationCore tagging functionality.
