Craft 5 is the latest version of the DestinationCore DCMS platform, and we are rolling it out across client sites as part of our ongoing product roadmap. The upgrade introduces a smoother editing experience for your team and strengthens the way your content is read and interpreted by search engines.
We have created a simple, step-by-step Scribe guide to walk editors through the key changes in the Craft 5 interface. It covers the new tools that make day-to-day content updates faster – including improvements to working with Content Builder blocks and managing entries – as well as the updated validation options that help catch issues before content goes live.
Alongside this, the guide explains how the upgrade supports your destination’s visibility in search. Craft 5 allows us to make better use of structured data and Schema for FAQs and Business Profiles (including Food & Drink and Accommodation), reflecting conversations we have had with representatives from Google about best practice for destination websites.
